Devon-a-thon redux for visitors

In the spirit of philoxenia, I’ve offered to show Marcaroni some of the wonders of Devon Ave. – a sort of mini Devon-a-thon redux:

Time permitting, we may walk or hop the bus to La Unica – 1505 W. Devon.

This will be pretty informal as I won’t have the time to do the full “a-thon” planning what with leaving for vacation soon. But please join us if you can, especially for more ordering power at Khan. If you want to join us but can’t meet at the first stop, I can pm you my cell # and you can check in to see where we are at any given point on the walk. We’ll likely take about 2-3 hours all together. Food cost estimates – most of the stops will be maybe $3-4 depending on what you buy; Khan a little higher at maybe $10-15 or so depending on how much is ordered.

Splendid idea. He could not find a better guide, and Devon is a perfect location. I'm still talking about the Devon-a-thon I got to enjoy. Sorry I won't be around for this one.

I'd be happy to join you at Khan. Any idea what time you will be there?

That would be great Steve. I imagine we'll get there around noonish. If you want, PM me with your cell phone and I can call if we are running late. But we should get there around 12:00 if not soon thereafter.

Serendipity! I forgot that the agency I cook for on Saturdays is now on Devon, so I think I can catch you all before you're done at Khan (don't wait for me to eat) and join the walk to and final snacks at King Sweets. See you Saturday.
