Post #1 - November 3rd, 2009, 10:06 amAt our October lunch group meeting, we discussed meeting at Avli Estiatorio on Thursday November 12. I haven't seen a post yet, so I thought I would begin the process: my apologies if I am stepping on toes.
Avli Estiatorio is a Greek restaurant, located in Winnetka. I am assuming that this date and time remains desirable.

Is it a cursed space? There’s not much signage. It’s off on a side street, away from Green Bay Road – the main drag. It’s housed La Boheme (where Didier Durand of Cyrno’s Bistro established himself), Tanglewood, FIO (aka Fork It Over), and most recently, Harbour House.
So is Winnetka ready for an upscale Greek restaurant? The Evanston Lunch Group will draw its own conclusions at Avli Estiatorio Thursday, 11/2 at 12:30 p.m.
I won’t repeat the address, since Gary has already put it up, but I’ll take care of keeping track of attendees and forewarning the restaurant that we’re coming.

Post #13 - November 10th, 2009, 1:40 pmI called Avli Estiatorio today to let them know our group would be there for lunch on Thursday, 11/12 @ 12:30. They will be ready for us upon our arrival.
