Hi, no recipe here, but I know how to make it. I don't measure stuff, so if anyone wnats to chime in with amounts of the ingredients, I'll let them. Just some
opinions for you:
Dice the onion finely.
If you are using bread, don't use that awful Hawaiian sweet bread - yuck.
Use real mayo, not "salad dressing" or Miracle Whip
Use a nice sourdough boule if you're using bread.
I really have issue with someone adding gobs of sugar to spinach dip via miracle whip or that sweet Hawaiian bread. A mixture of spinach, mayo, onions, and cream cheese is not calling out for sugar IMO. Good Luck! I'd bet that most underlying components of the recipes you're gonna come across are going to be the same. Might be some twists like roasted red pepper, garlic, hot peppers, etc.
