Recall on some Ziyad tahini

A Cicero importer is recalling tahini sesame seed butter after food inspectors in Illinois and Minnesota discovered possible salmonella contamination. The recall includes only ''Made in Lebanon, packed by A.O. Ghandour Sons S.A.L.'' on the label. We noted that our Ziyad Brothers tahini is labeled as product of Lebanon and packed by Ziyad Brothers. I strongly suspect that ours is not the only LTH household with Ziyad Brothers tahini. On the other hand, I wonder how much is under the recall versus how much is packed in Cicero and unaffected by the recall.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't think my Ziyad tahini is affected, though I intend to be safe, rather than sorry.
