    quickly glanced at the article at it says the place grossed 13million with a 400 seat restaurant. That sounds far fetched.

    It's high, but nowhere near impossible.

    By contrast, Gibson's, with half as much seating, grossed $20MM in 2007.

    why?

    400 seats x 2 turns/night x 300 nights/year x $60/head = $14,400,000 gross sales

    Volume, baby! Both of Frankenmuth's crappy-chicken-dinner tourist traps made the list (Zehnder's at #48, Bavarian Inn at #61). The numbers are mind-boggling: together, they sold over 1.8 MILLION crappy chicken dinners :shock:
