Gordon Ramsay: Cookalong Live

Is anyone else watching this on FOX? Gordon Ramsay showing us how to cook a 3 course meal in one hour... with no swearing (that's what he just said!)

He did a bunch of these in the UK earlier in the year. That version was pretty decent.

I'm watching it right now, not cooking along, and am enjoying it. Pretty funny to see Whoppi attempting to cook.

That wasn't as much of a cooking show as it was a chance for some C-list celebs to get TV time, a chance for us to feel patriotic about husbands in the marines and a chance for Ramsay to make crude sexual advances on LeAnn Rimes.

I did not try to cook along but my daughter did. She is not a skilled cook but is interested in learning. She said it was impossible to cook along. Ramsay did not show how to do things, the pacing was way to frantic and key steps were left out. I was hoping to pick up a few pointers but came away nearly empty.

The only event Whoppi would improve would be a plane crash.
