european imports warehouse sale

FYI, i think many of you will appreciate this sale. european imports is a company that imports many of the high end goods- cheeses, pates, preserves, mustards, pastas, etc. that we are able to buy retail. these occasional warehouse sales that they hold allow the public to purchase individual items that they normally sell only in case lots wholesale. they are discounted up to 60% off retail. the stuff goes fast.

For those interested, they are having a warehouse sale today and tomorrow, Dec. 17 & 18th, 2009 (may have been going on earlier this week, but I only called yesterday). I've never been before, so I'm excited. Is there anything in particular you all would suggest I look out for? Thanks in advance.

ETA: Hmm. Just realized this thread is in the events section. Guess I should have started a new thread or tried to change the title so the dates weren't misleading. Can I even do that? Ah, well, please do whatever is necessary, mods, and delete/move what I posted! I plead ignorance...I have 5 kids and don't get near a computer much! Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks for fixing my mistake, Pucca. I recall she said 9-3 or 3.30, but you may want to call to double check.

In case anyone is interested, they're having the outlet sale again today and on Saturday from 9:00 to 3:30. There will also be having their last one of the year next month from December 16th thru the 18th. Same hours. One of my most charming customers gave me their flyer. Planning to check it out today and go I guess a bit nuts, thank god for payday. As stated before, they are cash and check ONLY.

just a friendly reminder; if you go, check the expiration of items you plan to buy to make sure they'll have enough shelf life for you. one reason some of the items are for sale at the retail store is because they are from an opened case and might have been sitting around the warehouse waiting for the holiday sale. justjoan
