Kalorik coffeemakers?

The December issue of Consumer Reports contains an article about coffeemakers. The first runner-up was a new one to me: the Kalorik CM25282.



It goes head to head against the vaunted Technivorm, and they found it able to reach the desired temperatures that are supposed to be the Technivorm's calling card.

Reviews on Amazon are pretty mixed, but there aren't really enough for me to believe that they're representative. Anyone here have any experience with these machines?

The Amazon bad reviews seem pretty detailed. I'd take them seriously and do more research. Also, the thing is heee-deous.

Try coffeegeek.com for reviews on coffeemakers. I have this one, which gets some mixed reviews but overall people like.
