1/9/10 Mochitsuki and Ozoni: A New Year's Tradition

Flex your muscles and prepare your arms for our annual mochi-pounding on January 9th at 10:30 AM at Christ Church of Chicago.

Some of the mochi that we pound is taken home for New Year gatherings and we also make sure to set aside mini mochi balls for "Ozoni" (Mochi Soup). Hopefully you all will have a chance to enjoy our very own Tri-C Ozoni on January 10th after the worship service.

Though we've already had our mochi and ozoni for the year (we have it on New Year's Day), this sounds like fun. I'm gonna try to convince the Lovely Dining Companion to go....
