The host of this series is a dog named Francis who speaks English with a Japanese accent.

How to Make Nikuman (Chinese-Style Steamed Pork Buns)

Interesting slicing techniques, especially for the green onion. Never thought to use a cooler for raising dough, though it makes sense.

How to Make Futomaki Sushi & California Roll

It is worth watching simply to catch the three-layer omelet technique.

This is a very earnest class.

    Hi,

Maybe someday the equivalent of Saturday Night Live in Japan will do a skit where the toy poodle is made into BBQ.

When she finished with the dumplings, he was very appreciatively licking his lips.

In 1996 I was working in my company's office in Tokyo for a couple weeks. During that time, one of the Kiwi traders made a 50000 yen bet with one of the New York traders that he could eat something like 10 man in 30 minutes, with a bonus/penalty of 10000 yen for each over/under.

If they were filled with that pork mixture, some of them might have been tasty but most were filled with whatever fermented ooze that the baker decided to use that day. Yeesh.

here he is, contemplating his task.

    He lost the bet.
