It's not a commercial unit, so it could be an apples and oranges comparison, but it works extremely well, is electric, has a computer operated temperature control, will smoke fifty pounds of brisket at one time and is only $1,600.
It isn't a pellet smoker, which are subject to jamming as humidity changes, just wood chips.
The website claims that these smokers have been banned from competition cooking, but they make a line of smokers that have won numerous competitions, so color me confused.
