Thanks for checking this post out. Paul Kahan, executive chef/partner at the Publican, Avec, Big Star and Blackbird, will be a guest on "The Interview Show," which I host at The Hideout (www.hideoutchicago.com), on Feb. 5, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be the two-year anniversary show. Come on out! The Hideout's at 1354 W. Wabansia on the near-north side. $5.

was there for the Bayless interview...really good stuff. Got to meet him afterward which was great.

will try and make it this Friday for Paul Kahan. I interviewed him for my site (see link in signature)...he's a really cool guy and his restaurants are amazing.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I plan to attend. I love every one of Chef Kahan's restaurants. The food and concept are shoulders above other Chicago restaurants IMO.

The Hideout is the best!
