Good afternoon! I hope someone can help me with this. I passed by a HUGE bakery somewhere in Niles or Skokie, I believe, on one of my shopping trips up north and neglected to note down its name or location. I've been looking for it each time I'm in that area with no results. I know it's not the Oakmill Bakery. It was bigger with a lot of full length windows in front. It was in the early evening and the windows were lit up all around the edges. I'd be grateful to anyone with any hints or answers!! Thank you!!

    You might try Google maps:

    Could it be:

    Kaufman's
    4905 Dempster
    Skokie
    (847) 677-9880

At one end is a deli and the other a bakery with full sized windows.

There's a nice little slide show on their website at kaufmansdeli.com but it doesn't show the exterior of the building.
