February's lunch meetup will be at GNR-winner Ginza. They have tatami rooms in the back that accommodate groups pretty well so I'll plan for that.

Ginza is a short walk from the Grand Red-Line station.

Please let me know if you plan to join so I can make a reservation.

I'll be there. I'm always looking for a good excuse to visit Ginza.

Wish I could make this one too, but given the time the last one took and the el ride, I'm going to pass. But, looking forward to the next one that's closer to the (inner?)loop.

"Convenient-to-those-who-work-in-the-Loop Lunch Group" has a nice ring to it. I might potentially be out of town, so I'm a "maybe" for now...will change that to a solid "yes" or "no" ASAP.

Ginza though...I do like the way you think!

Would love to. Really. But the expanded loop definition makes it impossible to get there, eat in a suitably relaxed way, and return in a reasonable period of time. (Reasonable by my boss's definition, that is.)

(is there a regular rotation, like "3rd Friday of the month" or something?)

We haven't settled on one yet. My preference is for Fridays in general just because a longer lunch on Friday is more typical in my office. I'd be in favor of making a set time, and 3rd Friday of the month sounds good to me. Any objections?
