LOGAN SQUARE KITCHEN PRESENTS: VALENTINE’S DAY PASTRY MARKET ON FEBRUARY 13th

Logan Square Kitchen Pastry Market—a delicious one-day-only event that gives Chicagoans a taste of the underground, small batch, sustainable pastry, cake, ice cream and handmade confections scene.

All the local food artisans showcased at this unique event are dedicated to delicious pastry and confection creations. Attendees at this delectable event can purchase treats to take home for their Valentines or simply devour these amazing sweet and savory creations on the spot!

In addition, some featured vendors will be baking in the Logan Square Kitchen. Come see a sustainable kitchen in action and see what it takes to create exquisite, delicious pastries and treats. Attendees are invited to ask questions and learn more about the artisans and their craft.

Logan Square Kitchen (www.logansquarekitchen.com) consists of shared commercial kitchen, available on an hourly basis, and an event space, home to private and regular sustainable events. Logan Square Kitchen Pastry Market is the first in a series of events dedicated to the emerging talents in Chicago’s sustainable, artisanal food community.

I'm sure someone will start a more formal soon (once all of the vendors are decided), but I wanted to give everyone a heads up that the next LSK Pastry Market will be on April 10th. I didn't see a lot of LTHers at the last one, but we'll be back with more sweet and savory goodies in April.

This market is really a great way to try a lot of the locally produced sweet products that you've heard about, but rarely get an opportunity to try (especially in one place).
