    LTH,

It appears OT's on West Division, home of wonderful fried chicken, and much admired by YourPalWill and CrazyC, has closed.

Update: OT's is moving to Austin and Chicago Ave, but will not be ready until March.

    HI,

Any updates on where OT's moved and if it really did reopen?

The last I heard he was to reopen on April 1st. I tried his cell, and was unable to leave a message. I will try his sis later, and report back...

    Speaking of Soul Food....

Had a nice lunch of Fried Chicken, greens, mac&cheese, beets, fried okra and biscuits at Edna's today with Peter D.

    OK... Update...

OT was supposed to be open, but the new place was a mess and it is taking longer than expected to reopen. The new place is at 5845 W Chicago. He is doing catering jobs though, so if there is any interest in having a LTH picnic or get-together, we could order a bunch of stuff from him.

This may be the old location of Alice's, an excellent Carolina style soul food place that moved to West Division. VI had introduced me to the place shortly before it closed for six months to relocate. The food was excellent. But, the restaurant was indeed a mess.

In any event, I'll be happy to see OT re-open.

I'm guessing that since the last post is a year old, OT's never opened at its new location? I hoping my guess is wrong.

Yes, the last I heard, OT was focusing on more of a catering business instead of a storefront. But this news is about a year old...
