Could there be a worst new restaurant name? (Don't recommend googling that term)

    Anyone heard anything about it?

West Rogers Park!!?? Really?? I was expecting like Weed Street or something. This place is gonna be a hit with the cab drivers, Jewish grannies and south-eastern Europeans. Ridiculous.

The combo of "upscale restaurant and trendy lounge" (to quote the website) seems to describe what Cuna is going for, too. Not sure how well that's working out for them. But maybe it's the coming thing.*

*For all I know it's been a trend in Chicago the last fifteen years and I haven't heard about it.

I don't consider 5695 N. Lincoln to be in West Rogers Park, whatever Wikipedia says. Nothing on the web site inspires confidence, from the name, to the menu, to its proclaimed location. Too bad, I'd love to have a new, good restaurant in the 'hood.

    From the menu:
    Cob Salad 9 - side 6
Mixed greens, ham, turkey, blue cheese, tomato, egg, bacon

How can you even take them seriously if someone who hates salad knows better than this...

I don't get it; I must be out of touch. The name of this place offends me to the point where I don't even care how good or bad the food is. I'd just avoid it. I get the feeling that a bunch of mindless frat boys run this place.

I ate there last night and the food was amazing. I had the fried chicken & a slice of cheese cake, which was heavenly. The owner is new to the restaurant scene in terms of owners. He's worked at 160 blue & Goose Island. He's anything but a frat boy - sat down and talked to me - extremely friendly and down to earth. He is young, but seems to know what he's doing.

I'll be back again to check out the night life and some more items off the menu.

In my opinion it's just a name - It's the food and atmosphere that really matters to me. You could have a place with some amazing creative french name and have over priced crappy food - this the money shot is not.

That's not what Wikipedia says. That Wikipedia description of the West Ridge community area includes a map showing that the restaurant is located in a neighborhood called Rosehill, not West Rogers Park, which is further north. If that's correct, you can blame the Money Shot website for misidentifying its location, not Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is also a good reference to help understand the comments about this restaurant's name.
