    Hi,

I was in Garden Fresh in Northbrook this evening. They had separate piles of mixed Florida and Texas Rio Star grapefruits. I just ate the Rio Star to find it juicy and sweet unlike the fairly sour one I had earlier in the season. I now finally get the enthusiasm people had for Rio Star. Now available at 69 cents a pound it is a pretty good deal.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

I have been purchasing the 4 lb bags of oranges at the Aldi for $1.39 and they have been consistently good and sweet. They are a little on the small side but you can't beat the price! I have been buying from Aldi more and more lately.

The reviews online are reporting many bad honeybells from last year.
I want to send a box as a gift to someone, but don't want to send a box of blemished fruit.
Any advice or experience last year with Cushman's?
