Pan Pasand Candy?

My wife and I met up with a friend on Devon and overindulged at Sabri Nehari. In part, we were on Devon to catch up with our friend, but I'd also been sent by my mom to bring home some groceries she couldn't get in her neck of Ohio. Specifically, she wanted me to bring back some Pan Pasand candy.

I'd never had such a thing (paan? as a candy?) but apparently it's quite popular. The one lead I was given was Nayab Mart at 2449 W Devon. I looked for a while, but then resorted to asking. It seems that they have a hard time keeping it in stock.

Unfortunately, it was getting late and we didn't have time to search every possible market (a quick peek one of the Patel Bros store didn't turn up anything). But, by any chance, do any of you know where I might be able to find some of this candy?

I can't really tell from the bag, but there are a lot of paan candies out there. I've seen them near the register at kamdar as well. The paan shops usually have a fairly large selection of these things, the biggest selection I remember seeing is in the paan shop just east of sabri nihari, same side of the street in the back of a video store.

I noticed them at North Water Market. They were in small clear plastic bags, next to the dried fruits and nuts.

I'd been casually looking for this candy since posting originally, always forgetting to note the leads from this thread. But since I'm headed home for my brother's wedding next week, I went looking with leads in hand.

I did finally find them at North Water Market, as sazerac described. The candy is priced per pound ($3.99) in packets that contain approximately 50-60 pieces per bag ($2.50ish). Specifically, these are Pan Pasand Gold by Ravalgaon.

Well, as for the candy, it's pretty interesting. It's a red colored hard candy, intended as an after-meal breath freshener. It's sweet, with spice flavors I can't quite peg yet, but with a most notably pleasantly floral taste.
