    LTH,

    On March 4, 2010 the Little City Foundation Young Professionals Group will be hosting a benefit in honor of Little City's 50th Anniversary. I am the chair for this event, and I would love to have some LTH support.

    We've got a great roster of restaurants that will be participating, each serving a dish. Participants include:

    Vie
    Mado
    Sweets & Savories
    Mana Food Bar
    Province
    Happ Inn

    We'll also be serving cocktails provided by Grey Goose and wines provided by Terlato Wines.

    If that's not enough we'll also be raffling off some great prizes, including a Chef for a Day package at Graham Elliot Restaurant.

    The event will be at Loft on Lake (1366 W. Lake) from 6:30 - 9:30pm.

    Tickets are on sale now and are $75 per person. Click here to go to the invitation and registration page.

    All proceeds benefit Little City (http://www.littlecity.org if you'd like to learn more about this great organization).

    We've just found out that The Purple Pig will also be participating in the Food Frenzy. Be sure to buy your tickets soon!

    Just a bump on this.

    Unfortunately Purple Pig won't be participating but we still have 6 great restaurants who will be there.

    BTW, you don't need to be a "young professional" to attend...we're just the group organizing. Anyone who wants to support a great organization and is interested in great food is welcome.

    Thursday's menu has been finalized:

    The Happ Inn - Chips with guacamole/salsa and chicken wings
    Mado - Tuscan style chicken liver pate
    Vie - La Quercia prosciutto, M&M Ranch Pickled Buddha's Hand and Wood-Grilled Local Onions, Picual Olive Oil
    Mana Food Bar - Mana Sliders
    Province - Winter Vegetable Market Salad, Farm Raised Shrimp, Seasonal Farmed Vegetables, Toasted Almonds, Orange Mojo
    Sweets & Savories - Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding

    It would be really great to see a few familiar LTH faces at the event. Tickets are still available!
