Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen will have boiled crawfish with potatoes and corn on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at 5:00 p.m. running March 3rd through April 29th for $3.95/lb. I've gone several times and it's always been good. (The food far outweighs the service and the noise level.)

I just went today (3/17) and it was available for lunch. I had a dozen oysters ($3.95) and 2.5 pounds of crawfish ($7.90). I am not sure how often Papadeaux's has been doing this deal, but it seems like at least 4 or 5 years. I think it is always in the spring.

I have been going for a long time and I have always enjoyed it. This is the first time I got the double order. Usually I just get 1.25 pound. I now have a doggie bag. They said I should just re-boil them and they will be fine.

One negative for me is that the corn they serve it with is not too good.

We were there last night. Along with the crawfish, which are steamed with the potatoes and fresh corn in a strong spice mix, they're also discounting Gulf oysters, peeled shrimp and stone crabs on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I've forgotten what they cost individually, but a combo of a dozen oysters, six shrimp and a half dozen crab claws is $11.95.

I've never thought to try this place although I've passed it by several times. I just took a look at their menu, and I'm so stoked to try it out! I love seafood, and I'm from the deep South. The menu is similar to all of the things I grew up eating and SO affordable!
$3.95b for a dozen oysters? They're SO gonna lose money on me with that one! I can eat 5-6 dozen in one sitting. I've been going to Chicago Joe's (which I detest) on Wed and Sat for their 50 cent oysters, but NO LONGER.

Their price on stone crab claws is ridiculous too PLUS they have alligator, crawdads, AND frog legs! YAY! Thanks LTH!
