    Why do you suppose they burst? Doesn't look like they took them over a boil - at what temp do you cook raw black pudding?

    Is it OK if that made me hungry? For the first time this Lent, I'm tempted to eat meat. Lash me to the steering wheel as I drive past Ginger's and the Globe (wherein one can get a proper Irish or English fry up) tonight.
