As you might have noticed, I recently started a thread seeking a recommendation for a French restaurant serving the classics. Since then, I've gotten a number of suggestions and have spent a great deal of time poring over menus. I'd like to try several over the course of this coming weekend since the Lovely Dining Companion will be out of town and I need to occupy my time instead of pining away. I'd prefer not to dine alone and what better than a chance to share a meal with my fellow LTHers. I'm not looking to put together a large group; I think ideally there would be somewhere between three to six of us. So I post now to see whether anyone would be interested in joining me for dinner this coming Saturday at Le Petit Paris at 8 pm. (Time, of course, subject to getting a reservation.) I know it's not the best day, but this is a place that seems to be largely flying under the radar and I am quite encouraged by the research I have done. Anyone interested?

Wish I were in town this weekend, as this place is high on my want-to-go list. I stopped in recently just to check it out, and was quite charmed by the space and the host.

I wish we could join you, as this is apparently yet another place that's not far from my apartment that sounds like it's worth checking out. Unfortunately, Saturday is St. Patrick's Day (observed), and I plan on being in no condition for fine French dining that evening :P

Observed, shmobserved. Who the hell celebrates St. Patrick's Day on the 13th, even if it IS a weekend?
