Post #1 - March 15th, 2010, 9:26 pmA number of folks have posted about wanting to "say goodbye" before HaShalom closes and I'm sure there are many, like me, who have never been in (I'd never heard of it until I joined LTH in December.)
If anyone is up for going next Thursday, March 25th @ 7:00 p.m., I'd love to have some company. Just returned from what probably is our last meal
at HaShalom--delicious as ever. They were doing very good business too in their waning days. The restaurant is probably closing on Sunday according to Aimee (see above). The only good news is that her mother is considering writing a cookbook that I dearly hope includes her wonderful Moroccan vegetable soup. News will be posted to their Facebook page.
Please call and check that they will be there on March 25th! I hope so for any of you who have yet to eat there....

Thanks EvA--i've been emailing back and forth with Aimee and she knows we're coming next Thursday--they're closing NXT Sunday (unless something has changed since yesterday.)
