For those of you in Ukrainian Village or people that pass by, Sweet Cakes has moved down the block to re-open soon in the Caesar's Deli space on Damen and Iowa (1 block north of Chicago). The sign says that Sweet Cakes and Caesar's will be combined, in one store. This is good news for those of us that were underwhelmed by Sweet Cakes' bagels and such and also a sigh of relief, knowing that Caesar's excellent bagels, pierogi, paczki, and assorted handmade Polish items may still be available. If they combine the right things, it actually could work out well.
