I updated my post after speaking to Violet Hour. Apparently they have been getting phone calls from others thinking it was closed, too. King Fong mural is art.

SSDDHe was constantly reminded of how startlingly different a place the world was when viewed from a point only three feet to the left.

Little white signs in the window of 4801 N. Milwaukee Ave. Place used to be the duck place then it was Cafe Ya. Northeast corner of Lawrence/Milwaukee
Cafe Bite
sign says:
Middle Eastern
American
Mexican
Mexican?
The signs don't say when it will be open.

3952 N Sheridan Rd. (just left of the Sheridan redline exit and about three doors down from TAC Quick)
Not opened yet but the place has a "Bibim Bowl Coming Soon" sign. It is a small place and perfect for a solid bibimbap joint. The previous owners attempted a similar business. However, this place is decorated nicely and hopefully becomes established.
I always told Andy (TAC) that he should have friends open up a solid ramen shop in the same storefront. Oh well. I'll settle for bibimbap within walking distance and make the trip to Cho Sun for a wider selection of Korean food.
