I get their emails and their prices are quite good. While, there's something to be said for being able to see, smell and touch your fish purchase, I also know that it's not like restaurants and retail purveyors aren't basically using the same system of finding a good provider and having stuff flown in.

    Hi Jay,

Their sashimi tuna is nice. Fresh, tasty...clean and delicious. The frozen blocks are well...the usual frozen blocks. The Baja stone crab claws are a bit strange in texture compared to what many of us are used to, when eating crab claws. If you haven't had them before...I'd stay away from the crab claws. The fresh scallops were real nice too. In fact, you're probably fine with any of the fresh stuff (at least from my experience).

I haven't ordered from them recently though. The shipping charges just got too much for me. Instead I've been going to Succulent Seafood, in Naperville, for my tuna needs. One of these days I'll have to make the drive to Chicago for fresh fish (instead of my usual Iberico trips)

    Good luck,
    dan

They're offering flat $20 shipping now, which prompted my post.

    Thanks for the info!
