Great, see you tonight! Is 27 the new meaning of life now? :P

I will probably be there a little late tonight guys. I'm looking at around 7:30, which I hope is okay, since I won't be joining for dinner, but the exchange only. :?

Just to say I might be a little late too, so order without me. How's the parking situation?

    Hi guys-
I just wanted to let you know that I miscalculated my tupperware and came up one short. I replaced it with a mismatch tupperware, which was all I could find on such short notice, but I'll be more than happy to bring an xtra "proper" tupperware at the next meeting, to square up the rotation :)

I apologize as well. Jewel only had one set of the Gladware, so half of my portions went into the Jewel brand equivalent.

    Hi,

As long as the food is good, we know you both did your best with those containers. :D

Tom - Thanks for organizing, it was terrific as always!

The chives with no home was intended for Bella. I now owe Katie some chives and Bella someday. Was there anyone else who didn't get chives who will want them?

Was it settled on who would organize for next month? I realized as I drove away, I didn't know. If there is nobody, I could do it.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

I think that Lemoneater is next month's lucky organizer by way of her excellent suggestion of Ethiopian food! Thanks Tom for organizing--i enjoyed trying a new Korean BBQ after many visits to SSGS. Loved the noodle dish, the mini panchan pancake and the varieties of beef on the grill. Cutting up and cooking the octopus was fun as well. See you all next month!

Because I'm such a pig, I (meaning the hubby and I) already ate 3 dishes, and WOW! If I may say so, this is the best exchange yet! Everything was delicious!

I completely forgot about the chives! Drat! Oh well, that's what Harvestime market is for!
Glad you all enjoyed dinner! It looked and smelled sooo good, I was envious!

Tom - wonderful organizing as always and Hae Woon Dae once again gave us a memorable meal. Considering you were right on the nose about the $27 any stock market picks.?

I forgot to label my dish until the end of the evening so yours is not marked--since I think it's the only one, it shouldn't be hard to pick out--it's Pork stir fried with flowering chives and chinese broccoli. The recipe is from Fuschia Dunlop's Land of Plenty cookbook.
    Happy eating!!

Thanks to everyone--I am very excited to have my lunch made for me every day this week!

FYI, you probably want to add a little(2 TBS or so) liquid to the lentils when you are reheating if they look a little dry in the container.

Glad you liked it!! No wasabi--ingredients are pretty simple--meat was marinated in a mix of Shaoxing (rice wine), salt, potato starch and water. Sauce is soy sauce, black vinegar, chicken broth and chile bean paste. Stir fry and done! It's a great cookbook if you're interested in exploring Sichuan--I found out about it from this board so there are lots of posts on it. Hope you can make the dinner next time
