Sadly, msoma97 had to bow out. So Ms. Ingie, feel free to bring the lemon cake as lemon bars are not on the menu.

That means there are two more openings for this exchange. Takers?

    Hi,

I did a little shelf re-arranging last night. I discovered I have three bottles of rose water, while one alone is a ten year supply. If anyone wants a bottle of rose water, I can bring it on Monday.

If you want any Chinese chives, they are just popping in my yard. They bloom in August, then distribute lots of seed. In no time, you have a Chinese chive patch. Entirely preventable if you snap off the flower heads after they peak. I can pot some up on Sunday, if they are wanted.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Oh boy, I'd love some rose water. What can I trade you with?

    Hi,

A few months ago, I was at an Icelandic dinner. They served Pönnukökur Icelandic Pancakes (Crepes) With Whipped Cream. [Edit: I ultimately used this recipe.

I will prepare the crepes in advance as well as the whipped cream for assembling at your place. I hope this will not present any problem to you.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

I'm going to bring some kind of citrus cornmeal cake, although I'm still waffling between a few options. (How's that for last minute decisions?) Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

As soon as I finish posting this, I'm going to sack out in front of One Life to Live with the rest of the Moscato.

Thanks all for coming and sharing your tasty treats! Can't wait to get through the ritual meals tomorrow so I can sink my teeth into the Angel food cake and molten cake (I think those were the only two I missed). I might even share, but that's doubtful. ;)

I think my cat left a steamy deposit while we were congregated in the kitchen, and boy do I apologize. Sir Hiss, unfortunately, has no shame.

I promised to post the recipe for the bean salad. It was indeed a 101cookbooks.com recipe, and it's so easy to make it's silly. I prefer it warm, and it's often my bring-to-work lunch.

    Enjoy!

Thanks for hosting Pie Lady. The dessert exchange was great as always. I'll try to get my pictures posted soon.

Many thanks to Pie Lady for hosting. The salad was a perfect precursor to six kinds of dessert. My daughter's loving what I brought home. I've been busy fighting with the taxes since Monday, but may have some time tomorrow to post my photos.

Looking forward to joining the dessert exchange again this summer. Until then, sweet dreams.

    Hi,

Pie Lady was a most gracious hostess. Her lovely cat kept a watchful eye on the guests to make sure the family silver stayed.

AFter a delightful salad and assorted cheeses, we got down to the serious business of eating lots of dessert:
