Sorry if there has been a post on this place elsewhere. I couldn't find anything so feel free to merge this is there is already a thread dedicated to this tiny little market that packs quite a punch.

Old world market on Broadway in Uptown
I stopped in here when I had my monthly hankering for a beef patty and came to find CAB closed. I hadnt been before but its a little market with all sorts of African and Island products. They carry all sorts of Blue Mountain spices and if you ever need any part of the goat I saw heads, ribs, legs and whole available inside the meat case. They have quite a selection of jerk marinade and dry rubs. Ginger beer and even pink ting! I never eat ketchup, not even with my fries but I got some amazing jerked ketchup from a company called Eaton's that I found there.

I left with 5 different types of Jerk rub from different company's throughout Jamaica. I hadnt seen some of this stuff at the local market in Negril.
I am going to have to finally try making curried goat which is always one of my favorite meals in the motherland. Unfortunately they dont do patty's and they didnt have pimento wood. They did have all sorts produce that was native to the Caribbean like all sorts of hot peppers and some beautiful scotch bonnets.
