Korean Food on Film, 4/30, Siskel Center

Le Grand Chef, a promising flick about Korean food, is playing at the Siskel Center on Friday 4/30: http://www.siskelfilmcenter.org/node/692

After-film dining suggestion: Korean Seoulfood Café, a place favorably reviewed by Comrade Sula and relatively near the Siskel Center.

This sounds like fun, and I'd be there if I could. Korean Seoul Food would indeed be an excellent post-show spot, for some warming soul lung tang and other interesting goodies. Full bar too.

This is a great film, stunning in terms of food images. I encountered it in Montreal a few years ago and got to watch it online before it was pulled from YouTube. It would be very worth watching on the big screen.
