    Does anyone know where I could find shwarma spice on the near northside?

    In Andersonville there's an Iranian (I think) shop on the south-west corner of Clark and something.... They have it and I paid $2ish for it. I actually am going to use it with (of all things) chicken and serve it with a nice flat bread from Argo... I think the intersection is about 4 blocks north of Foster and the store is an everything-kind-of-store. I went in looking for a specific type of zatar and walked out with Shwarma seasoning...

    That's Par's Grocery, I think. A Persian place, like Reza's on the other side of Clark. (Yeah, the post-colonial state of Iran contains most of what was Persia; just wanted to clarify.)
