Habibi and I want to bring some more love (or at least board consideration) to Iyanze in Uptown. Join us for dinner there next Tuesday, June 1st at 7pm. Once we see what interest is like, we'll talk with the restaurant and post a proposed menu for the evening. We're open to requests, too.

I'm really looking forward to this. Lots of goat, pounded root starch, and if things go my way, maybe I can convince the kitchen to cook up some pizzle.

Great. I'm glad folks are interested. The space is pretty big, so I won't set a cap just yet.

Looking forward to tomorrow night - let me know if there is a cost / menu update, or if any attendees need any supplies from Parks Hyde or Oak.

Sorry to say I have to cancel on this--will have a houseful of kids tomorrow night unexpectedly (last day of school)...looking forward to hearing the report.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I got tied up with the holiday weekend. We're definitely still on for tonight. I'll have Habibi chime in about the menu. Cost should be less than $25 sans drinks.

Jen: I'm sorry you can't make it. Anyone else who's interested: Join us at 7! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

We don't have a set menu so we can just order what looks good. Unless we go nuts (not sure if my stomach is up for it, but feel free), I don't think it should cost more than 15 per person without drinks.

Goat, chicken, maybe some fish, pounded starches, beans, plantains - the usual suspects will be available I imagine.
