Late late night spots for this weekend

I just snagged some gigs this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a pretty big time Mexican band La Sonora Santanera (they're Mexican but the style they play is Cuban). The gigs will be until 2:00 a.m. each night and they're looking for some good grub for afterwards. Since they're from Mexico City La Pasadita or El Presidente probably won't impress. What's open late in Chinatown? Or north? At least one of the gigs is at the Aragon.

Red Hot Ranch on Western offers minimalist style, vienna beef 10/1lb natural casing dogs topped with hand cut french fries. IMO, late or not, best place to find a decent dog in the north side.

Correct me if i'm wrong LTHers, but i think that Little Three Happiness in Chinatown is open late - i've been there a handful of times (not in the middle of the night) and it's always phenomenal.

Suzie's Drive in is a great stop, especially if you're not sober and don't care at all about your health. Fries, burgers, philly cheesesteaks, confused chicken....all good to great late night food made to order by a very ornery staff. Open 24 hours.

'Little' Three Happiness is indeed open late, at least 5am on the weekends, if not all night. After the Aragon gig I suggest heading to San Soo Gap San for Korean BBQ, I'm betting that will get your Mexico City band mates attention.

I've heard good things about Late Night Thai, which is open from 9pm to 5am. 1650 W. Belmont. It's also cheap!

Many of the late night/24 hr places are Mexican. If they get a taste for home, there's plenty to offer. Authenticity won't be lacking.

It's good Thai for late night ... meaning almost any other Thai place in the city is better, but the others nearly all close by 10.

Some of the suggestions aren't very suitable for group meals. Susie's has only a few stools inside and a trio of picnic tables outside; the late-night atmosphere at Wiener's Circle is too raucous for comfortable dining; Jim's has no seating at all; Diner Grill and the White Palace don't have seating for groups, either. I don't think the Greektown gyros joints have any capacity for crowds.

LTH, Hae Woon Dae and San Soo Gab San could work if they aren't too crowded.

Tempo Cafe in River North is an excellent all-night Grecian diner that's used to big groups. George's Kabab, an Iranian grill in Albany Park, may suit as well.

If your Aragon show is Sunday night, you might consider the Fireside Inn over on Ravenswood near Hollywood. It's open until 4am, kitchen until 3am. It's decent food, decent drinks, neat location, and for middle of the night on Sunday, not a bad option.
