Favorite Dining Companion and I had dinner last night with a friend that lives in Edgebrook. I believe this spot used to be The Rusty Armadillo.

Anyway, the front of the restaurant has open-air windows, maybe 6 booths, a bar and a hand-full of tables. Not a huge spot. It's narrow, but deep. We decided to eat up on the rooftop. Other than being a tad windy, it was nice up there.

Wednesday night is $5 spaghetti night. You get spaghetti with a choice of two sauces. Our friend took advantage of that deal.

I had the linguini with aglio olio. Other than being a bit heavy with the sauce, it was quite good.

FDC ordered the Ribs Italiano. I rolled my eyes. Basically, it was baked ribs with Italian spices rubbed on. A different taste experience but they were fairly dry.

Small salad that came with the meal was good. I inadvertently forgot ask for my Italian dressing on the side which resulted in too much dressing. The dressing itself was quite good.

Overall, good portions and reasonably priced. A nice spot in the neighborhood. Nice bathrooms.

We went a few weeks ago and were not impressed. Our appetizer was fried polenta and was the highlight of the meal. I ordered a pasta with Bolognese sauce and what I got looked like marinara sauce with a few chunks of Italian sausage in it. Mrs. Fujisan got linguini with Alfredo sauce. Both dishes were very bland. There was a $5 pizza special so we ordered that for the kids. I probably could have saved a few bucks and gotten them a Tony's frozen pizza instead.

I would rather have spent a little bit more and eaten a few doors up the street at Pasta D'Arte.

Agreed. Pasta d'Arte is much better than Got Spagetti. Also, I don't know if you market your restaurant as offering seafood when you only have 3 seafood items and 1 of those items has a typo "shrimp dijion".

The salad is the best part of the meal. Everything else was meh at best.

Better bet yet...go to Tanzitaro up the street. Next to Smak Tac, its the best place in the neighborhood.
