Ice Cream Cake

Hey Guys,

I'm throwing a party for some friends in two weeks and want to purchase an ice cream cake for the event. I'm really not so interested in Baskin Robbins, as I would like to support someone locally if possible, but to be honest, I'm not sure who does ice cream cakes in the Chicago city area that are really good.

Any recommendations?

You might try Bittersweet Pastry Shop. They have excellent cakes, though you'd have to double check if they have ice cream cakes.

Give the Chocolate Shoppe a call. The have a nice display of Ice Cream Cakes in the front of the store in the freezer near the window. The store's decorations are phenominal, and if they can decorate an ice cream cake half as good you have a winner.
