    looking for an italian restaurant in Western Suburbs that serves a family style dinner similar to Maggianos

    There are multiple Maggiano's in the western suburbs.

    Probably pricier and not as abundant as Maggiano's, but if you're looking for a "family style" closer to what you might find in Italy, Gaetano's is a good place to start:
