Hoping someone can help. I bought Jennie O Turkey Tenderloin from Costco. It comes vacuum-packed in a two pack. I used one a couple of weeks ago and went to use the other one today. The bag was all filled with air. The use-by date is June 21st, so it's within the date. Is this a problem? Does anyone know?

    Ms. Ingie,

This has been said previously on LTH, but when in doubt, throw it out.

    HI,

If I understand correctly, has the seal section ballooned? I wouldn't use it, though I might take it back to Costco, because it should stay ok at least until that expiration date.

Costco should accept the return with no questions asked. If you used a credit card for the purchase, they can look it up from your charge history. So even if you can't find the receipt it wouldn't be a problem to return.

It doesn't even matter if you used a credit card or not. They can look it up based on your membership number. Costco is very good about returns.
