D'oh! I need to read LTH more often! That's a bummer, that part of Cicero really benefited from having Xni-Pec. Probably better for them in the long run. I guess I had wishfully hoped they opened a second location there...

That's my kind of atmosphere! I hate having to get dressed up to go to Blackbird!

I've eaten probably 15 meals from Bodhi Thai and the food has been equal to meals from Spoon, Sticky Rice et. al, and even Lotus of Siam in Vegas which many food critics have called "The best Thai restaurant in the US". Granted, I stick to all the authentic Thai dishes and stay away from Pad Thai type stuff. I love the mussel omelette, best version I've ever had was from Bodhi Thai, but as with most restaurants, every once in a while you may hit an off night. The food is better eating in and getting the specials, especially if you express an interest in the "freestyle" cooking.
One problem with LTH is, you see gorgeous pictures and read mouth watering descriptions, then sometimes go to a place with such high expectations you are a little disappointed. That's what happened to me today going to Kuma's Corner for the first time.
