Hey guys, going to Long Beach in two weekends and was wondering if anyone had any good places that we must check out while we are there. Yes, I know, In N Out, anything else? Nothing too fancy, but something more laid back. I love all types of food, so bring anything you got.

    Thanks

We were just there two months ago and did several restaurants from DDD with Guy Fieri. One we really liked was Gaffey Street Diner in San Pedro for breakfast - definitely get the Chorizo Omelette. I had the Blueberry Pancakes (which were okay), but my husband's omelette was excellent.

And we also liked Paul's Place in Los Alamitos. It's all outdoor, covered seating and we thought the gyro salad was really good. Large portions and very laid back. They also have other greek items/hot dogs/mexican. It's a whole mish mash of food.

We also did Schooner or Later in Long Beach - which to us didn't live up to the hype.

    Have fun!
