    Starting today, Michigan will allow individuals to sell homemade foods without jumping through a lot of onerous & expensive hoops:

    This makes complete sense, both in the restrictions and the requirements. I live in fear of the day when we will be legislated out of bake sales and cookie swaps.

    I'm surprised that it includes homemade preserves, but the requirement to include a name and address are good ones.

    Make sense in economically strapped Michigan, and I hope other states, especially Illinois, follow suit.
