The winning recipe will feature on Dawali’s menu for three months, and the cook who submits it will receive a $100 gift certificate to Dawali and a one-night stay at the newly renovated Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza. Since the terms of the contest indicate that the recipe be composed from existing elements of the Dawali menu, I assume that Chef Nasser will take care of the preparation.
BR, I'd be happy to spill the beans but I wonder if that might detract from the chef's plan to create a special event. I'd better save that info for later. Thanks for the good wishes!

Dawali’s First Annual Best Recipe Contest!
How it works:
Submit your favorite recipes built from ingredients currently on the Dawali menu beginning Tuesday, June 1 through Wednesday, June 30.
Dawali’s Owner and Executive Chef, Nasser Amer, will select five top recipes. The finalists will be notified Monday, July 5 and invited to a taste test event on Thursday, July 15 where guest judges will choose the best recipe. The event will be held on Dawali’s newly opened patio that is open for lunch and dinner daily with seating for 30.
