    Calling all wine and spirits enthusiasts! Potter’s Lounge at the historic Palmer House Hilton will launch its Secret Spirits Society series, inviting guests to attend intimate, weekly tasting events showcasing a variety of wine and spirits in a speakeasy-inspired ambiance.

    The perfect spot for imbibers-in-the-know, Potter’s Lounge pays homage to the great twentieth-century iconic figures who have played a role in the Palmer House’s rich history. With flamboyant columns of plush white feathers, the seductive, spacious bar brings a new level of sophistication to the classics with its retro-inspired cocktail menu.

    Beginning July 20, 2010, Potter’s will offer a class every Tuesday through the end of August. Led by Beverage Manager Patrick Coyne, the series will have a different focus each week and will showcase an expert from each spirit or wine brand. Lasting from 6:00-7:30 p.m., each series costs $25 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity) and includes a variety of generous tastings and delicious bites courtesy of Potter’s Lounge Executive Chef Phillip Foss.


    The Potter’s Lounge Secret Spirit Society series line-up for the summer includes:

    July 20- Absinthe
    July 27- Vodka
    August 3- Whiskey &Scotch
    August 10-Tequila
    August 17- Sake
    August 24- Champagne
    August 31-Gin
