This Saturday August 21st in the Loop.
We are hosting an underground Raw Milk Dinner Party in the Loop.
It's communal dining in a loft space near Columbia College.

Using 10 gallons of milk from Keith Parrish’s farm in Chatsworth Illinois we're preparing a dairy lover's dream menu.
Keith is a certified organic dairy farmer and he was recently featured on the Chicago Tribune video blog. Check out the video http://www.chicagotribune.com/videobeta/059a7ccc-4c5b-4e2f-9b97-13b2341ccf22/Health/Raw-milk-Pasteurization-not-required.

We're making fresh farmer's cheese, chocolate chile gelato, whey brined pastured chicken.
For the full menu and RSVP info, go to ClandestinoDining.org
    Cost is $65. 5 courses + cocktail + amuse + byob

Tomatoes from our garden in St. Charles IL.
Oyster mushrooms from River Valley in Wisconsin
Aged raw milk cheeses from Pastoral Cheese.

THIS MEAL IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. Lactose intolerants and folks with milk aversions should NOT attend this event.

I ran in to Chef Efrain last week and when he talked about this weeks raw milk Clandestino dinner his eyes lit up. If we didn't have a family commitment that evening this is one I'd really love to attend especially given my hands-on experience with Hammond's Raw vs. Pasteurized Milk Cheese Throwdown

    Enjoy,
