I thought it would be nice for us to grab sandwiches from Pastoral and head into the park to eat since there is limited space in the sandwich shop. Let's cross our fingers for sunny weather.

Let me know if you're interested in joining us.

This sounds great to me. I've just repatriated back to the States and Chicago and work right down the road. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

turkob--I hate to do this, especially since our group is a bit small but I have to be at an appt. at 11:00 (others scheduled and I'm at the mercy of their timing) that I fear will not be finished in time for me to get to Pastoral by 11:45. I almost wonder if we should reschedule this for Sept. since so many seemed to want to do it but are out of town or otherwise engaged. I completely understand if you want to keep the date in which case I'll see you all hopefully in Sept. at another location.

thanks for planning and sorry for the late cancellation.

I was kind of hoping for a late charge, but I think you're right, summer is just tough for people. I'd actually like to hit up CND once more before it shuts down for good since I couldn't make in June.

leek and krista, is it ok if we cancel?

Let's go ahead and plan this for Sept. though--I loved the idea and the weather should be perfect for an end of summer picnic...maybe the 16th?

I think we've done better on Thursdays than Fridays too...

edited to add the above sentence :)

Work is too busy this week, sorry, have to bail :(

Benefit is that the students are having a food fair, so at least I'll still eat well :)
