If anyone can actually be hungry a few days after the LTH picnic, Buen Provecho is going on in Pilsen on Thursday September 16th.
If you have never been, it is basically a walking tour of Pilsen with 20+ restaurants that give you small portions of some of their signature items. Tickets are $25 this year. The site is below:

FIG has made some fantastic Oaxacan chocolate cookies that I still dream about. I'm not sure if they were at Buen Provecho last year or the Mole festival, but I'm sure whatever they're offering will be good.

I am almost ready to eat again after the picnic, and looking forward to hitting FIG, HonkyTonk, and several other places. They have the list of restaurants and what they are serving up on the 18th st website.

I wish, but we're going to the Jarvis Square Wine Affair hosted by Gruppo di Amici and Taste Food & Wine up in Rogers Park. So many good choices for a Thursday night! I look forward to hearing about this year's Buen Provecho.
