cathy: i dont have plates, maybe you meant someone else.... i think dance 1 should bring plates if he/she is still willing to shop, even with the new batch of 175 that mbh is bringing. we can always use them next year, but i think they'll be needed. see everyone tomorrow. joan

I will bring also bring ~150 dinner plates and a cooler of ice.

Nix the bread - I was too late to get an order into the newly opened La Boulangerie (also slammed during the Logan Square walking tour.)

    Still bringing the spiced sangria.

    Well, we do need plates....

I have a 175 pack of Hefty plates from Costco that I picked up on sale a couple of months ago anticipating the picnic, I'll bring them. Kudos to all who are prepping to tonight, I can't wait to taste all your food tomorrow.

TRAGEDY averted. Thx, mbh and wendy (and Dance1, you might as well bring some too if that's what you were planning).

The entrance is on Cicero between Berwyn and Foster on the east side of the street. Easy to get to from 94.

Ahh...the downside of GPS's, you can go to the first page of this thread where there's a map, the actual intersection is Foster & Cicero. You enter off Cicero, the entrance is about 100 yards north of Foster on the east side of Cicero. Just follow the road staying left until it ends and you'll see your fellow LTHer's.

    Squishy White Bread

Glen, Jen, MBH, are one of you, or anyone, bringing squishy white bread to accompany the Uncle John's links? I will bring a smoker to cook em, but SWB is essential.

I stopped by Gene's this morning to pick up mustard to go along with my pate and saw they had plastic 2-liters of Russian beer. I have no idea if it's any good - there are no English words on the label at all - but I couldn't resist picking up a couple for the picnic.
