Romantic place with good tiramisu?

Mike G's rule is usually a good one, but sometimes all a poor grad student couple wants to do is dress up fancy and go to a nice romantic place for drinks and dessert after eating dinner at home. So I'm looking for place to take my girlfriend to make her feel special, and the usual suspects (Everest, Spiaggia) don't have her favorite dessert, tiramisu.

So, any recommendations for a nice, fancy or fancy-ish and romantic place with good tiramisu? Bonus points if it is downtown somewhere. We would like to walk around town a little afterwards.

Some great ideas & tips in the thread that Cathy linked. Have you considered buying a tiramisu from a bakery (I bet the $35 one from Pasticcieria Natalina mentioned in the linked thread beats the pants off of just about any restaurant tiramisu out there), picking up a $40 bottle of champagne from Binny's (which would probably run you $120 at a nice restaurant)?

Clean up the apartment (this step is key, as piles of mail and a basket of unfolded laundry are not conducive to romance), dress up all fancy, dim the lights, light some candles, put on some music, and have a romantic night in for $75 (not counting dinner, which you planned on making anyway)...can't beat that

The tiramisu at Vinci is very good, with strong espresso flavor dominating as it should. Though the front of the restaurant can feel hectic, they have a couple of back rooms that I'd describe as quiet and romantic.

It's been a few years for me, but aren't you supposed to take her out somewhere nice, THEN invite her back to your place, rather than the other way around?
