    Host: msoma97

    Date: Sunday, October 17th- 5:00 p.m.

*Be sure to get in touch with Pairs4life for some free flour!* JustJoan used the flour last month from Industrial Harvest- thanks for telling us about it.

Location: Oak Park. Green Line (Oak Park stop) is a 15 minute walk. Parking is available on side streets one block away.

I have one cat who will hide under the bed, so allergen alert.

    Basic exchange rules:
    1) I'll provide a light vegetarian dinner and drinks. (Please let me know if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions.)
    2) Bring one dessert, no need to double or triple the recipe, there's always plenty!
    3) Bring containers for taking your portions of each dessert home. We nibble on the desserts at the exchange and then all take samples home. You'll probably need at least a few good sized containers.
    4) Come hungry!

Everyone is welcome! Event is capped at 8 people (including me) due to space limitations.

    Attendees:
    1. msoma97- World Peace Cookies (using 'Industrial Harvest' flour)
    2. Ms. Ingie
    3 cookiemonster
    4. pielady
    5. justjoan
    6. mmmdonuts
    7. eli
    8. Cathy2

    Wait List:
    1. chouxfly
    2.
    3.

Didn't you host recently, or did that get cancelled or changed to a new venue? At any rate, the new date makes this doable for me. I will get back to you on what I'll bring.

This is "MmmDonuts" aka Denise, replying with enthusiasm! I would love to attend. It will be my first time, but I've been firing up the oven, getting ready and can't wait.
I see the date is Oct 17th, but I don't see the time or specific address (besides Oak Park).

Anyway, thanks for inviting me and my sweet tooth :)

I keep thinking about the Pumpkin Coconut so unless I can't find canned pumpkin anywhere, I'll bring that. One of the other two pies I mentioned will be backups in the case of no pumpkin or utter failure.

Please count me in also. I'm having dessert exchange withdrawal. Not sure yet what I'll bring, although not coming straight from work will open up the possibilities a bit.

I agree about not coming straight from work changes things.

I have a suggestion & yeah you can vote it down, but there's a new thread up for a Southern/Cajun food exchange. I would love to do a future dessert exchange that's for lack of a better word, "Songs of the South". Yes, I would count Florida & its coastal islands.

    Thoughts?

Would it be okay if I brought two desserts? I found a recipe for Prosecco Pear Tiramisu that I just have to try.

Curses! Last week I was set for trial, opposing counsel answered not ready. Trial is now scheduled to commence on Monday. I'm bowing out of the exchange so someone else can step in.
