Post #1 - October 15th, 2010, 9:27 amThe Great American Cheese Collection opens its Back of the Yards warehouse for an afternoon wine, beer and cheese party, 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
The event features a grand tasting of over 100 of artisanal cheeses ordinarily reserved for restaurants. Wines from Artisan Beverage Company and Damian Wine Group and beers from Doubleheart Brewing will be poured and Grandma Pearls will offer up some barbecue samples as well.
Tickets are $30 ($50 for two), and proceeds benefit the Sodexo Foundation’s Stop Hunger initiative. Cheeses, wines and meats will be for sale at discount pricing with 15 percent of sales going to the charity.

It would be good to share the address, which as I recall was 4700 S. Talman St.Toast, as every breakfaster knows, isn't really about the quality of the bread or how it's sliced or even the toaster. I received an email from them on 1/2/18, so they are definitely open. At the bottom of the email, the following information is listed:1400 West 46th Street, Suite 202, Chicago, IL 60609 773.475.6527
